It was a shitty game against a shitty team, but this one was awesome

I'll give you that one. That was a good goal. Now, if only this was the norm from him that would be awesome.

So, there's some good surfing spots in Honduras and Costa Rica; well, more like Costa Rica.
Anyone going to the qualifiers down there?

So far my ideal USMNT line up is:

-----Donovan-------------Dempsey---------------Gomez-----

----------------Bradley---------------Corona----------------------

----------------------------Williams-------------------------------

----Fabian----Omar Gonzalez------Cameron-------Cherundolo----

------------------------------Howard-----------------------------------

My B-Team

------Shea----------------Boyd---------------Wandolowski-----

------------------Torres---------------Zusi----------------------

----------------------------Jones-------------------------------

Parkhurst----Bocanegra------DeLaGarza/Goodson-------Franklin

----------------------------Guzan-----------------------------------

After this recent qualifying cycle I'd say this is a pretty spot on depth chart here.

Except that Zusi is ahead of Corona at this point based on his recent performances.

I also don't buy into the EJ hype just yet. He's gotta prove himself beyond this level of qualifying.

More than anything, I just hope that Williams has proved he is better option than Jones going forward.

It's time to start thinking about 2014 and players like Jones and even Bocanegra need to be phased out of the starting lineup.

Cherundolo's loss will be painful.

I hope Franklin can do it, but he hasn't been given much of a chance at this point.

Franklin doesn't even look good at the MLS level at the moment.

This.

Lichaj and Spector are easily ahead of him in the pecking order at this point.

Also, if Chandler ever decided to get his head out of his ass he would easily be the #2 at RB.

Any chance of Stu Holden getting a roster spot by 2014?

Sadly I think it's a longshot for Holden. I still don't think he's playing for Bolton yet. That last knee inury really fucked him good.

Son of a bitch! Man, was Holden looking good before he wrecked his knee. Poor bastard. I guess this is more USMNT team talk thread but it's a damn shame he got those injuries.
