Great Nets OT win tonight in Houston!
Came from 8 down in final minute to tie,
7 down in final OT minute to win.
Harden scores 58 in losing cause.
Teams combine for NBA record 106 3-pt. attempts.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

haven't been to an NBA game in years, but am probably going to a Nets game next month.  Surprised to hear that they're doing so well. It sucks because Nets games used to be cheap tickets (first at Continental Arena, then in Newark, and then in BK for a few years).  But now there's not much of a discount vs Knicks games (lower level for both teams ~$120ish).

Try to buy outside, just not from scalpers.

NBA schedulers as dumb as MLS.
Knicks & Nets both home tonight.
Historic performance by Harden.
Smallest home crowd of the season for Nets.

The most notable moments from the past almost 20 years of being a Knicks fan are almost exclusively other team's superstars coming into the Garden and dumping on the home team.

Nets are the most surprising team in the NBA.

I had no expectations for them this season, but management has put together a really good group and they are way over exceeding expectations. Atkinson should be on the shortlist for coach of the year.

"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. "There's so much you can accomplish in the soccer world, and right now I'm focused on having a good season with the Red Bulls. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams

8-18 start followed by 18-5!
Injuries may derail the Nets train.

Just in time for the Knicks to arrive in BK tonight.

Edit: Nets 109-99
Idiot I know bet the Knicks +9. Gamblers never learn!

Nets continue to do well. 8-2 in last 10.
Knicks have sunk to the bottom of the East.
Only PHX competing with them for NBA worst.

James Harden continues to astound.
24 consecutive 30-point games, 2d to Wilt.
But, Rockets only 6-4 in last 10, 29-21 overall.

It's a 4 team race for the ever so valuable bottom 3 spots. Knicks, Suns, Cavs, and Bulls. Knicks have 4 games remaining against those other 3 teams (2 versus Chicago, 1 versus Phoenix, 1 versus Cleveland).

I was not a KP fan (mainly because of his attitude) and I was not very excited at the prospect of building around him (because of the injury and he's never done it for a full season), so I'm in the camp that's supportive of the trade. A lot of people are up in arms because the trade was largely to create cap space, which is essentially just air at this point, which I understand. But, I think the important point is that creating the space to now fit 2 max players, as opposed to 1, makes them significantly more likely to land the big fish.

Will big fish really want to sign with the toxic Knicks?
Ego-driven superstars want to win now!
Most want to play for a team with a history of success.
If KD signs, who will want to be Second Big Fish?

That remains to be seen, of course. History says no, but this is also the first time they've had this much cap room. They increased their odds, there's no guarantee it'll work.

If KD were to sign, all indications would point to Irving joining him, as it sounds like those two want to join forces, wherever that may be.

The Knicks also now have 7 first round picks in the next 5 years. Hopefully, they end up with the first pick this year and can add Zion.
