put Murillo in  GThis should be a dangerous line up provided we don't play long ball.

-                 Robles
Murillo - Parker - Tarek - Lawrence
-----------------CCJ
     Muyl-Omir-Kaku-Etienne
                Royer

Tactical keys

- press

- Keep the ball on the ground and pass it around a la Santos first half.

- don't suck

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

The club is hosting a viewing party at Smithfield Hall where the Leipzig-Bayern game will be shown at 930am, followed by a "video chat" with Jesse and Tyler, then the Red Bulls-Dallas broadcast.

It's an interesting concept but the timing is tone deaf. I wonder how many people will be shouting for both guys to come back and save the team.

Mike Petke town hall 2.0?

Especially tone deaf being that I believe Smithfield's is an official Bayern supporters bar.

I don't think it's tone deaf. Jesse March and Tyler Adams were always leaving the club. If RB Leipzig didn't exist, they would have just left for some other random European team. The fact that they are still associated with the team is pretty cool IMO.

Seems like a really good thing to do tbh. People bitch (rightfully) about the lack of engagement and marketing from the team. This seems exactly what they need more of

It's home to Manchester United, Barca, Bayern, West Ham supporters. Say hey to Fitzy at the door.

I wish them well but once they leave they are no longer associated.

That's fine to feel that way. I disagree though. IMO he is still a representation of our club. I feel proud to watch him succeed knowing that he was a product of our academy, and hopefully an inspiration for others to do the same. Any one of our academy players - if good enough - will leave the club. Its sucks, but that's how this sport works. It has nothing to do with being a "farm team". Just look at Ajax - almost just made it to the UCL finals and still their best players will be leaving the club to go to La Liga/EPL/wherever.

I have nothing but love for Marsch and Adams.

I was personally referring to the fact that they're holding this at a Bayern bar... on a day that Leipzig plays Bayern.

Adams would have. A whole lot less certain about Marsch. The list of American-developed managers who have gone abroad* is what, three guys long now? Bradley, Berhalter, Marsch?

* - guys like Wagner, Caulfield were raised in Europe, so they don't count for this

This is how I feel as well but I only really watch our team and team USA. I'll watch a few champions league games here and there but that's about it for me.

This. I mean you can't expect everybody in marketing/engagement/social media to just twiddle their thumbs until the team wins a game. And yeah they're leaning in hard on the RB family of team angle--but it was it is at this point and they're not being surreptitious about it.

The question on my mind is will Marsch and Adam be in the mood to talk to fans for 30 minutes if they get crushed by Bayern?

I am much more a fan of the way Liverpool approaches it.  Once you are family, you are always family, if you want to be.   That sort of culture matters and pays dividends.
